Biography

​

As a first-year student at the Parsons School of Design working towards a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, I primarily focus on oil painting, film, and installation. I find myself fascinated by the breadth of the universe and the complexity of the human heart, and seek to better understand my often perplexing observations through creative experimentation. As a result, my works often take inspiration from history, philosophy, and science to explore cultural norms and standards. In my dive into the workings of the world, I try to preserve a sense of childlike wonder and naivety. It helps me detach from the tumult of the moment and become an inquisitive bystander to reality. More importantly, I have a love for coming up with new nicknames for my cat and reciting historical speeches to myself in the mirror.
